Kaushik Dahal
Business development for token projects. Bangalore, India.
I work at BrownRice Capital, a crypto market maker. Token teams come to us when they need an exchange listing or liquidity, and my job is to find those teams, understand what they need, and get them in front of the right people. I have worked on listings and liquidity conversations with exchanges including Kraken, Bybit, Bitkub and Coins.ph.
On the side I scout early-stage companies for Angels For Asia, mostly in fintech, Web3 and software.
The part of this work I am still learning is the technical side of what I sell. I want to understand the products as well as I understand the people. I automate the repetitive parts of outreach with n8n, Zapier and Apollo, and I know a little JavaScript.

Before that
I studied accounting and finance at SRM University Sikkim, class of 2023. In college I built a small business and sold it, helped organise TEDx SRM, and spent time with Rotary and the entrepreneurship cell. My last big project there was a financial analysis of Tata Motors covering 2017 to 2023. I also made a lot of banners and posters along the way.
Outside work
I play chess, and I follow the game closely. I play the violin. I read, and I like essays that change how I read, such as Andy Matuschak's Why Books Don't Work.
I grew up speaking Nepali. I also speak Hindi, English and Bengali.
